Jasmine is the course coordinator and lecturer for Maths Fundamentals (MATH48/MATH1074) and Essential Mathematics (MATH1073) at UniSA College. She has taught mathematics to students at TAFE and Foundation Studies program at Flinders University in South Australia. She started her career as a mathematics and science teacher in secondary schools in Malaysia. She then became a mathematics lecturer at Institute of Teacher Education in Malaysia. She is passionate about engaging students actively in learning mathematics. She adopts context-based learning approach in enabling students to make sense of numbers and experience meaningful learning.
