Ms Jayne Ayliffe

Jayne Ayliffe is an Access and Inclusion Adviser working on the Magill Campus (0.8fte.)

She works with students with a disability, mental health or medical condition to provide information and services to assist them to achieve their learning goals. Students can register with the Access and Inclusion Service. The service is free and confidential.

An Access and Inclusion Adviser can assist students to access services such as:

• Assistance resolving access issues and information about their rights and responsibilities
• Information regarding alternative forms of assessment and curriculum modification
• Setting up an Access Plan, which informs University staff about student eligibility for disability related services
• Specialised equipment and print materials in alternative formats
• Notetakers and sign language interpreters
• Finance and scholarship information
• Access to Adaptive Technology

The Access and Inclusion Service has an Adviser located on each metropolitan campus in the Student Engagement Unit. Students can book a face to face or phone appointment with an Access and Inclusion Adviser through the online booking system or by calling Campus Central toll free on 1300 301 703.  Contact can also be made by sending an email to inclusion@unisa.edu.au.

Access and Inclusion Adviser's also work with staff to support them in providing reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities, mental health or medical conditions. Staff and students are encouraged to contact the Access and Inclusion Service to discuss and problem solve access issues at UniSA.
