Associate Professor Keogh was appointed Associate Professor of Dietetics and Nutrition in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences in 2010. She is a dietitian whose research is on the prevention and management of chronic disease using dietary change to achieve health benefits in obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Her recent research and publications focus on the use of intermittent dieting as a strategy for weight loss and diabetes prevention and management. She is an active researcher with 130 publications and member of the Alliance for Research in Exercise, Nutrition and Activity (ARENA) Research Concentration.
She was awarded a Fellowship from the South Australian Cardiovascular Research Development Program in 2013.

Prior to joining UniSA Associate Professor Keogh held positions in dietetics in Ireland, the UK and Australia. She is an experienced research scientist and previously worked at CSIRO. She currently supervises 4 PhD students.
