Jo Mignone is the Program Director for the Bachelor of Digital Media at UniSA Online, as well as an awarded academic, artist and illustrator in the Bachelor of Design (Illustration and Animation) at the University of South Australia. Jo's main teaching focus is coordinating and teaching illustration, drawing and creative artefact production processes. She has won teaching awards, including a recent fellowship and grants for her teaching of drawing and illustration and regularly exhibits her work internationally. Jo is a research degree supervisor and her research examines expanded illustration practice and pedagogy, publishing both creative artefacts and traditional research outputs.

Jo attended Adobe MAX conference in Los Angeles November 2019 to learn latest digital illustration skills and practice
Jo collaborated with Isshoni Creative, creating illustration solutions for the Basket Case range of wine labels. These labels were awarded wine label of the month by national publication Wine Business Monthly (2015).
