My area of research is quality use of medicines (QUM) within the discipline of Pharmacy. QUM involves ensuring that medications are used wisely, judiciously, effectively and safely in individuals and populations. Adhering to QUM principles maximises the opportunity for benefits from medications whilst minimising potential harms from medications.
