Kadek joined the Wearable Computing lab as a research associate in August 2021, shortly after submitting his PhD thesis for examination. Kadek's research focuses on human-centred data analysis. In particular, Kadek actively conducts research in Immersive Analytics, a growing body of research exploring new ways to understand complex data using immersive technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality. Kadek joined the Wearable Computing lab as a research associate in August 2021, shortly after submitting his PhD thesis for examination. Kadek's research focuses on human-centred data analysis. In particular, Kadek actively conducts research in Immersive Analytics, a growing body of research exploring new ways to understand complex data using immersive technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality. Since his master study in 2016, Kadek has produced several high-quality publications on immersive analytics topics, including engineering data visualisation, geographic data visualisation, and '"natural" user interaction for interactive data visualisation. During his PhD, Kadek had taught data visualisation units for bachelor and postgraduate students. He has also actively enggaged in academic activities, including taking role as a conference comittee member and reviewing academics papers (e.g., IEEEVR, CHI, ISS).
