Karen Inwood began teaching with the UniSA Arts Education team in 2013. She has completed a M.Ed. with a focus on drama-based pedagogy, creative self-efficacy, and pre-service teacher training. In 2020 Karen received the World Education Forum Award and in 2021 became a Board Member of Educators SA (EdSA). Karen is the President and founder of the Creative Arts Association Australia (CA3) who were awarded the Educators SA Innovative Association Award in 2022. About me

Karen worked in Youth Theatre and was the founder of Tutti Kids and Youth (after school performing arts workshop program for children living with disability). Karen taught at Mitcham Primary School, Wilderness Girls School, Suneden Special School, Prince Alfred College, and St John’s Grammar School where she was also a passionate Head of House. Karen works to foster pre-service students' confidence and capacity to teach The Arts.
