Kath is a Senior Lecturer specialising in the areas of functional anatomy and biomechanics having obtained her PhD and MSc in Sports Biomechanics at the University of Chichester in the UK. About me
Kath is a Senior Lecturer specialising in the areas of functional anatomy and biomechanics having obtained her PhD and MSc in Sports Biomechanics at the University of Chichester in the UK. With over 10 years’ experience in teaching within the areas of functional anatomy and biomechanics, Kath is passionate about integrating emerging technologies to enable effective online learning within the field of exercise and sports science.
Kath’s main research areas stem from her background as a podiatrist where she is interested in understanding the pathomechanics of injuries and how to best monitor performance. In addition to research, as an Accredited Exercise Scientist, Kath looks to practically apply her knowledge through providing exercise and sports science support to professional athletes and clubs, which has included the Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS), NSW Country Rugby League and Sussex and Hampshire County Cricket Clubs in the UK.
