About me
Kevin Chan is a member of the Centre for Enterprise Dynamics in Global Economies (C-EDGE), an academic researcher, lecturer and a course development assistant at University of South Australia (UniSA) Business. Kevin holds a B.Sc. (Business) degree and an MBA from the University of Manchester. Currently a PhD Candidate at UniSA, his doctoral research aims to identify the salient knowledge intensive precinct attributes (assets and processes), and how they, through the various configurations of their interactions, produce different innovative and entrepreneurial outputs.
The findings of his research will inform policymakers on how innovative-entrepreneurial outputs can be optimised through the various configurations of precinct attributes (assets and processes). Creating policies that shape the design of external environments, such as precincts, has been crucial to the development of economic activities and productivity. With such policies in place, more targeted economic strategies could be developed to potentially promote positive dynamics among precinct attributes to create greater innovative and entrepreneurial outputs, hence greater productivity performance.
Kevin is a recipient of the Korean Studies Promotion Services Seed Program Scholarship, Academy of Korean Studies and Research Training Program (RTP) Domestic grant. He has also received the Korean Studies Association of Australasia (KSAA) Research Award given during the 12th KSAA 2021/2022 Biennial Conference held in Melbourne.
