About me
Lauren is an AHPRA registered physiotherapist graduating from Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Physiotherapy in 2018. Lauren has experience in the private, aged care and disability sector. Additionally Lauren has volunteered at sporting events such as the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 & 2020 World Gymnastics Championships.
After completing her Master in Public Health in 2021, Lauren moved into the Victorian Public Service supporting the contact tracing team in the Department of Health.
Following her completion of her Graduate Certificate in Policy and Governance, Lauren moved into a policy officer role supporting community services in the prevention of COVID-19 and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Lauren is now working as a Senior Policy Officer in the Department of Health in workforce management.
Additionally, Lauren has completed continuing professional development certifications through the APA in Women's Health.
Lauren has had experience teaching face-to-face at Monash University in undergraduate health promotion and public health topics (HSC2300 & HSC1200) in 2022. Lauren is excited to be joining UniSA online as an Online Tutor in HLTH 3087 UO Adapted Physical Activity, Exercise and Sport.
