Liang Zhao obtained his Honour’s degree at the University of South Australia (UniSA) in 2020, majoring in data science. He is now proceeding with his PhD program at UniSA. Liang Zhao's research interests are in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and their applications in remote sensing and other areas. His current research project applies deep learning techniques to advance early fire smoke detection based on multi-spectral satellite imagery.
