About me
I am an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Clinical and Health Sciences. I worked in the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences in the early 1990s, returning in December 2002, and was Program Director for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) from mid 2005 to mid 2017. I have worked at the National Centre for Education and Training in Addiction at Flinders University and taught for eleven years at TAFE in the western suburbs of Adelaide. My main teaching interest there was in the alcohol and other drugs area. I was a registered pharmacist for several decades and have worked in the community pharmacy sector in Queensland and South Australia and at two public hospitals in Adelaide. As an academic at UniSA, I enjoyed the opportunity to support the education of further generations of pharmacists. As an adjunct, I am actively engaged in research largely focussed on the many facets of the care of mental health cllients in diverse sectors, including community pharmacy, collaborating with Dr Vijay Suppiah and other colleagues in the supervision of a number of postgraduate students.
