About me
Lisa is a Lecturer in Radiation Therapy in the Allied Health and Human Performance Unit. She teaches into all radiation therapy courses in the Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences program, and is involved in honours student supervision. Lisa has 15 years of clinical experience where she has worked predominantly in the public sector in Adelaide, with a secondment to Darwin in 2010 to establish the first radiation therapy centre in the NT.
While working as a clinician, Lisa completed an honours degree at UniSA and was engaged as a casual tutor. Eventually academic life won the tug of war, and she has been employed at UniSA since 2019. Her role as lecturer and course coordinator at UniSA involves working closely with clinical partners to coordinate clinical placements, investigate research opportunities, and maintain up to date teaching resources. Lisa is an inaugral member of the UniSA Authentic Assessment Design Lab, and she is passionate about the use of authentic assessment and clinical simulation in teaching.
In her spare time Lisa acts as taxi driver, chef and social coordiator for her three young children. She also enjoys practicing yoga, bike riding (very slowly) and sewing.
