Dr. Md Jonaet Ansari is a Technical Officer: Project Engineer (Mechanical) at UniSA STEM, Adelaide University. He specializes in additive manufacturing process, acoustic emission sensing, defect detection, and advanced materials characterization. Dr. Ansari completed his PhD in Energy and Advanced Manufacturing at the University of South Australia in 2025, where he developed an innovative acoustic emission (AE)-based defect detection system to identify and quantify process-induced defects, such as cracks, in structures fabricated using the directed energy deposition process.
