Dr Marina Delpin leads a team of experienced research management professionals who support the "development and pre-award" stages of the research lifecycle at UniSA. The Research Projects Development team provides valuable strategic and operational service and support to researchers and research leadership focussed on identifying, targeting, communicating, informing and developing competitive research grant and funding opportunities across all categories of research funding (HERDC 1 – 4). There are 3 sub teams clustered on research funder groupings: ARC, NHMRC & MRFF; other HERDC cat 1, cat 2 & 3; CRCs and Major Research Initiatives.

About me
Dr Marina Delpin leads a team of experienced research management professionals who support the "development and pre-award" stages of the research lifecycle at UniSA. The Research Projects Development team provides valuable strategic and operational service and support to researchers and research leadership focussed on identifying, targeting, communicating, informing and developing competitive research grant and funding opportunities across all categories of research funding (HERDC 1 – 4). Marina’s career focusses on the growth and development of research and researchers, building individuals’ and research institutions’ capacity, capability, and reputation.
With skills and experience across the research lifecycle - including research, research management, research- and business- development, and research marketing and communications - Marina has worked in senior strategic and operational roles. These include building and leading teams, change management and continuous improvement, and creating and embedding new enterprise-wide programs, processes and systems, all with the aim to support research and researchers and uplift research - income, -translation, -impact and -performance.
