Michael Ulpen is the Academic Coordinator of IT and Engineering at SAIBT. He leads efforts to maintain consistency of learning outcomes for fifirst year courses between SAIBT and UniSA and to improve the outcomes for graduates of SAIBT's Diplomas of IT and Engineering as they transition to Bachelor programs at UniSA.
Michael has been teaching information technology topics for over 10 years with a focus on Object Oriented Programming and Agile development methodologies.
Michael has current research interests in artificial intelligence, academic integrity and organisational psychology. He is currently involved in projects to ensure genuine academic integrity in STEM assessments.
