Michelle Penna-Freeling is a Lecturer in Nursing at UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences. Michelle completed her nursing degree at the Flinders University in 2013 and went on to pursue Honours in Nursing in 2014. Her clinical experience centres around perioperative nursing and community nursing. Her PhD was a mixed methods study exploring nurse presenteeism in high acuity settings.
Michelle is an avid teacher and researcher and is passionate about presenting pharmacology and pathophysiology knowledge to nursing students in an accessible and enjoyable way. Her current role at UniSA involves coordination and teaching of NURS5170 Perioperative Nursing, NURS5171 Decision-Making for Midwifery and Nursing Practice, and several undergraduate courses.
