Michelle is a Research Associate for the Behaviour-Brain-Body Research Centre (BBB), and has recently submitted her PhD here at UniSA. Both Michelle's research work and doctoral work are interdisciplinary, positioning her across multidisciplinary and methodologically diverse teams and projects.
Michelle's research interests are broad but typically pertain to psychosocial factors related to occupational psychology and human factors in the workplace. About me
Michelle is a Research Associate for the Behaviour-Brain-Body Research Centre (BBB), and has recently submitted her PhD here at UniSA. Both Michelle's research work and doctoral work are interdisciplinary, positioning her across multidisciplinary and methodologically diverse teams and projects.
Michelle's research interests are broad but typically pertain to psychosocial factors related to occupational psychology and human factors in the workplace. Her doctoral research is explores ageing, creativity, and psychosocial safety in the context of the Future of Work, and includes engineering workforce exemplars.
Michelle's areas of expertise include investigating and understanding phenomena that impact individuals' psychosocial experience of work and life. To do this Michelle uses multiple methods, often blending qualitative and quantitative to fully understand the phenomena.
Since completing her Bachelor of Psychology Honours in 2016, she has worked as an academic researcher and completed studies examining a variety of subject matters including: Aged Care Workers and Person Centred Care, Nurses’ Safety, Manufacturing Readiness for Industry 4.0, Entreprenurship and Cyber Security, Ageing in the Engineering Workforce, Workplace Bullying, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and a number of projects about Creativity.
Michelle has a strong focus on making research accessible and useful to stakeholders/consumers/clients.
