About me
Dr. Mohtsham is currently working as a Senior Lecturer for UniSA - Business and is responsible for both development as well as delivery of a range of management courses at UNISA including Strategic Management, Strategic Concepts, International Business and Business Internships. His role involves working in close collaboration with others and ensure a high quality teaching and learning experience for students.
Mohtsham holds a PhD in 'Strategic Management' from 'University of Innsbruck (Austria)' and has a vast amount of experience in industry and Academia (over 17 Years).
He is a certified member of Australian Human Resource Institute (CAHRI) and has acquired several certifications in online teaching from ACER, Australia , QM, USA etc.
Prior to joining UNISA, he has served in various academic /administrative roles in Australian and International Higher Education Sector including his role as Head of Department of Management in a large International University. Most of his teaching and research has been in the areas of Business Strategy, HRM and Organisational Behavior.
Mohtsham is an active researcher and has published more than 25 research papers in quality peer-reviewed journals /conference proceedings etc. Part of his research work has also been included as book chapters in various management / leadership books published by some renowned publishers from Europe and USA.
As a passionate researcher, Mohtsham strongly believes in ‘Research to Practice’ philosophy; several research students have successfully completed their MS/PhD level studies while working under his supervision. He is particularly interested in understanding the human behaviors in organisations. His research interests include examining different situational and dis-positional factors, measuring their interactive effects on various job outcomes, exploring the intervening mechanisms and investigating how each of these may subsequently impact on organisational performance.
