Qian Fang received her PhD in Social Policy in 2018. She was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Social Policy Research Centre, University of New South Wales (2018-2021) before she joined UniSA Justice and Society, University of South Australia in 2022.
Qian’s research focuses on culturally responsive social policy and practice in Australia and international Chinese community comparative research.
Qian brings to teaching her engagement with multicultural communities to help students understand cultural responsiveness in working with people from various cultural backgrounds, a key knowlege and skill for a social worker in the time of globalisation.
