As a Business Development Manager, Rachel is a key member of the Enterprise Hub team, collaborating across diverse sectors such as Tourism, Arts & Creative Industries, Professional & Commercial Services, and Community & Social Services. She plays a pivotal role in fostering external industry engagement at the University of South Australia, driving initiatives that lead to research, consultancy, collaboration, strategic partnerships, and education and training.
Rachel works closely with researchers from various academic units, research centres, as well as government and private industry, connecting organisations of all sizes to help address challenges, foster innovation, and create value. By facilitating connections with research and knowledge experts, she enables collaborations that generate new ideas, build networks, and solve complex problems.
With extensive experience in cultural programming, business development, philanthropy, sponsorship, and corporate partnerships, Rachel has worked across government, arts, festivals, and cultural organizations throughout Australia. Before joining the Enterprise Hub, she managed philanthropic funding opportunities for UniSA as part of the Advancement Unit. She has also served as the Program Coordinator for MOD. at UniSA, where she facilitated public engagement at the intersection of arts and STEM for young audiences.
