About me
As a Business Development Manager, Rachel is part of the Enterprise Hub team, working across multiple industry sectors, including Tourism, Arts & Creative Industries, Professional & Commercial Services, and Community & Social Services. She supports the development of external industry engagement activities at the University of South Australia, which lead to research, consultancy, collaboration, strategic partnerships, education and training.
By working directly with researchers across multiple academic units, research centres, government and private industry, Rachel engages organisations of all sizes to overcome challenges, innovate and add value. By facilitating connections to research and knowledge experts, these collaborations generate ideas, build networks and solve complex challenges.
Rachel has extensive experience in cultural programming, business development, philanthropy, sponsorship and corporate partnership engagement. She has primarily worked across government, arts, festivals and cultural organisations around Australia. Prior to joining the Enterprise Hub, she coordinated Foundation and Trust philanthropic funding opportunities for UniSA as part of the Advancement Unit team. She has also been the Program Coordinator for MOD. at UniSA, facilitating public engagement of arts and STEM intersections for young audiences. She currently serves on the National Young Writers' Festival board - Australia's largest annual gathering of young writers.
