Rebecca Royals is a Lecturer in Nursing at the University of South Australia. Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Nursing in 2017 at the University of South Australia and has since gained acute experience in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care and Perioperative setting.
Rebecca commenced her nursing career at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, completing the Transition to Professional Practice Program in the Paediatric Emergency Department and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Rebecca Royals is a Lecturer in Nursing at the University of South Australia. Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Nursing in 2017 at the University of South Australia and has since gained acute experience in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care and Perioperative setting.
Rebecca commenced her nursing career at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, completing the Transition to Professional Practice Program in the Paediatric Emergency Department and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Upon completion of the program, Rebecca transitioned to the adult environment moving to the Lyell McEwin Hospital’s Emergency Department. In recent years, Rebecca has had experience working at the Royal Adelaide Hospital’s Advanced Recovery Room Care (ARRC) unit which caters to postoperative patients with a high risk of 30-day mortality as part of a research trial at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Rebecca completed a postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing, completing a Master of Nursing (Emergency) in 2021.
