I am head of the Acute Leukaemia Laboratory at the Centre for Cancer Biology (UniSA), have extensive expertise in leukaemia biology, research leadership experience, and established clinical and industry networks. I have been a Program Leader at the Women’s and Children’s Health Research Institute and Chief Medical Scientist (Haematology/Oncology) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. I have held the Australian Research Council QEII Fellowship and the Peter Nelson Leukaemia Fellowship. My standing in the field of blood cancers is evident from >70 publications and my involvement in clinical trials and national and international studies on AML.
