Sarah Seekamp is a lecturer in the occupational therapy program and has experience in a range of practice areas including health promotion, management, aged care, chronic disease, disability and children and family services. Sarah has spent a significant portion of her career working rurally, both in South Australia and Victoria. She is a strong advocate for service models that reflect comprehensive primary health care, having a focus on prevention and health promotion as well as responding to ill health.
Sarah’s research interests include rural health, particularly the relationship between physical activity and mental health promotion and population health approaches to improving child health and wellbeing outcomes.
