Sebastien is the Business Development Manager for UniSA STEM at the University of South Australia.
With more than 15 years of public-private engagement in two universities and an education background in Science and Engineering, Sebastien is accountable for the identification and the development of mutually beneficial research and education opportunities with industry and government departments. He leads the external engagement for many disciplines and fields including Engineering, Mathematics, Materials science, Environmental science, Aviation, Information management and Information technology.

Sebastien is the Business Development Manager for UniSA STEM at the University of South Australia.
With more than 15 years of public-private engagement in two universities and an education background in Science and Engineering, Sebastien is accountable for the identification and the development of mutually beneficial research and education opportunities with industry and government departments. He leads the external engagement for many disciplines and fields including Engineering, Mathematics, Materials science, Environmental science, Aviation, Information management and Information technology.
While Sebastien works across many sectors (Manufacturing, Energy, Mining), his main focus is with the Defence and Space sectors.
His core strength is in his ability to develop trust and frameworks of engagement with a wide range of organisations, alongside translating opportunities into real projects. Sebastien has always a positive attitude, he likes to work with other people and has a strong work ethic.
Prior to joining the university sector, Sebastien was working in Africa (Burundi, South Africa and Cameroon) as a consultant for agro-commercial projects.
