I am the online course facilitator for the Bachelor of Psychological Science and Sociology and have responsibility for leading the development and delivery of online teaching for UniSA Online students. My role involves working closely with divisional staff at UniSA to provide high-quality online teaching to undergraduate students, and to coordinate the day-to-day activities of online tutoring staff.
I have been involved in teaching numerous undergraduate Psychology and Social Work courses at UniSA since 2012. I am passionate about educating students and the community on health psychology and in particular the importance of sleep for our health. My PhD research involved investigating countermeasures for reducing the negative cognitive and psychological effects of sleep loss in shift workers. Since finishing my PhD in 2015, my research has also focused on investigating coping and resilience across the lifespan, with my recent work being centered around well-being in Australian students.
