Subhashini is a passionate educator with extensive experience in coordinating and teaching both technical and professional engineering courses. She currently coordinates the Project Management for Engineers and Introduction to Water Engineering courses. Her teaching practice is strongly student-centred and informed by the principles of inclusive and authentic learning.
She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), demonstrating her commitment to excellence in university teaching and ongoing professional learning in higher education.
Her research spans both technical and educational domains, with interests in stormwater management, water-sensitive urban design (WSUD), hydrologic modelling, and climate change. She is also actively engaged in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), exploring ways to enhance student engagement, academic integrity, and graduate readiness through innovative curriculum and assessment design.
