Theophilus Teo (Theo) is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian Research Centre for Interactive and Virtual Environments, University of South Australia. He received his Ph.D. in 2021, also at the University of South Australia, by exploring novel techniques for merging 3D and 360-degree virtual environments to support remote collaboration. His research areas and interests include interaction techniques, mixed realities, human-computer interaction and empathic metaverse. Prior to joining the University of South Australia, Theo was a Project Assistant Professor at Keio University and worked on various projects, with a focus on human-robot interaction, multi-body embodiments and parallel views.
