Vincent is a clinical academic with a focus on cardiovascular nursing and nursing education. His career started as a Registered Nurse in different specialty units at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), including the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CT-ICU), Acute Assessment Unit (AAU), and Cardiology. He continues to be deeply interested in cardiovascular nursing and keeps a strong connection with the Cardiology Department at RAH.

Vincent's research project is centred around synthesising evidence on educational interventions that develop evidence-based practice competencies among healthcare professionals.
