Dr Wael Jebril is currently a casual lecturer and turor in Education at the University of South Australia and is an academic Enlgish teacher for pre-master's students at the University of Adelaide College . He holds a PhD in Education from the University of South Australia's Education Futures and a master’s degree in TESOL from the State University of New York in the USA. Dr Wael Jebril is currently a casual lecturer and turor in Education at the University of South Australia and is an academic Enlgish teacher for pre-master's students at the University of Adelaide College . He holds a PhD in Education from the University of South Australia's Education Futures and a master’s degree in TESOL from the State University of New York in the USA. Dr Jebril has obtained his first master's degree in Policy Studies from the University of Edinburgh in the UK, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a graduate diploma in translation from the Middle East.
Dr Jebril has worked as an educator and translator for around 17 years. His positions varied between office and classroom work in international, government and non-government institutions. Dr Jebril's teaching expertise and research interest are in the areas of English language, academic English, instructional technologies and teahcing and learning in Education.
During his study and work journey, Dr Jebril has achieved prestigious awards including the Fullbright Fellowship Scholarship from the American Government, OSI Chevening Scholarship from the British Council in the UK, University President’s Scholarship (UPS) from the University of South Australia, and the Quiet Achiever Award from the University of Adelaide College.
