About me

Wahid Murad is a senior lecturer at UniSA Education Futures. He teaches and coordinates courses in data literacy, economics, and personal finance. His research interests focus on environmental economics and management, climate change management, and motivational strategies for students' academic success in enabling education. He has led funded research projects and successfully collaborated on international research in Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Turkey, and the USA.

Additionally, he serves as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Climate Change Strategies and Management, an Academic Editor of PLOS Climate, and an editorial board member of Environmental & Socio-economic Studies, Bioresources and Environment, and Exploratory Environmental Science Research.

Furthermore, Wahid has effectively supervised honours, master's, and Ph.D. students to completion. He has developed course curricula and academic programmes, led academic units/disciplines, collaborated with colleagues to achieve common teaching and research objectives, and provided consulting services to external agencies.
