Professor You-il Lee is Professor in International Business and Dean of Programs (Management and Marketing) at UniSA Business, University of South Australia.
You-il holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and a PhD from Murdoch University. His recent books (co-authored) include Cross-Cultural Challenges of Managing ‘One Belt One Road’ Projects (Routledge, 2022), The Korean Economy: From Growth to Maturity (Routledge, 2019) and The Political Economy of New Regionalism in Northeast Asia (Routledge, 2018). He is currently completing a monograph (co-authored) on the political economy of foreign direct investment in Korea.
You-il has had considerable experience in advising companies and the government on a range of international business environments, policy issues, and political and economic engagement with contemporary Asia over the years. He currently sits on the Board of Directors, Australia-Korea Business Council (AKBC). He is also a member of the European Association of Evolutionary Political Economy (EAEPE), the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE) and the Australia-New Zealand International Business Academy (ANZIBA).
