Dr Carolyn Murray is teaching and research senior lecturer with strong interests in qualitative research in the areas of health workforce development and support, evaluation of aged care services and consumer experience for people living with health issues such as dementia, stroke and brain injury. Dr Murray is interested in sustainability and efficiency of health and aged care systems and services across disciplines - particularly the early career workforce. Dr Murray is a keen educator of future occupational therapists and integrates her research into her teaching, supervision of research students and preparation of students for being practitioners. Dr Murray supervises PhD, Masters by research and honours students and is always happy to chat to prospective research students.

Carolyn provides education across both the undergraduate and entry-level masters occupational therapy programs. She has an interest in fieldwork education and preparation of students to become thriving health professionals. In addition to more traditional fieldwork programs, she co-coordinates and supports students to participat in role emerging field practice.
Carolyn's clinical experience and interests in the areas of aged care, neurological conditions and professional reasoning inform her teaching. She values occupational therapy practice in all practice settings and is passionate about development of resilience in the allied health workforce as well as supervision and mentoring strategies for provision of appropriate support and career development.
