His research interests include water governance and policy research (urban and rural) focusing on water institutions and policies, community participation and public-private partnerships, and policy entrepreneurs, assessing community attitudes and perceptions towards alternative and/or ‘new’ water sources (e.g. reclaimed water, stormwater, desalinated water), and qualitative research (PhotoStory). He has authored a book and published several refereed research articles, book chapters, and research reports.
