Professor Gerry Griffin retired from the university in July 2013. Previously, Gerry lead the University of South Australia Business School, and was also a Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President of the University. His management portfolio included the Schools of Commerce, Management, Marketing, Law and the International Graduate School of Business. He was also Campus Director for the City West Campus. Professor Griffin is a graduate of University College Dublin (B.Com (Hons) and MBS) and the University of Melbourne (PhD). He joined UniSA in 2004. Professor Griffin has held visiting appointments at universities in Britain, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the USA, and at the International Labour Organisation in Switzerland. Outside of the academic world, he has worked full time in industrial relations in both the public and private sectors and has had extensive consulting experience with a wide range of national and international organisations. He is a regular member of review panels for the international business school accreditation agency EQUIS.
