My research, consultancy and supervision activities relate to mediation, intercultural perspectives on language teaching and learning, language teacher education, (languages) curriculum design and implementation, language policy, planning and program implementation, and assessment design, evidencing and judging learner achievement.
I am the current President of the Applied Linguistics Association of Australia.
