Renée holds a Master of Social Work and is a Research Assistant at the Australian Centre for Child Protection. Her research focuses on family, domestic, and sexual violence, out-of-home care, and the disclosure of child sexual abuse, with particular emphasis on the long-term social, emotional, and psychological impacts of trauma.

Renée holds a Master of Social Work and is a Research Assistant at the Australian Centre for Child Protection. Her work is grounded in a strong commitment to social justice and a critical examination of the structural and systemic factors that perpetuate inequity and disadvantage, particularly for women, children, and other marginalised groups. Drawing on qualitative methodologies, Renée centres lived experience to inform the development of evidence-based policy and practice across local, national, and international contexts. She is deeply committed to the ethical inclusion of lived experience voices in research and policy reform.
Renée has contributed to several published articles and shared her work through webinars and national conferences, both online and in person.
