Served on South Australia Metropolitan Fire Service Medical Panel; Honorary member of the Golden Key International Honour Society; Fellow of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences; Honorary Professor of Exeter University; Honorary Research Fellow of Hong Kong Baptist University. Served as expert witness in supreme court case on health benefits of exercise across the lifespan.
