About me
Dr Sarah List joined the University in a sessional role in 2005, and is a Program Director and Senior Lecturer in Biosciences. She is responsible for the leadership of more than 20 staff and their courses, and is personally responsible for coordinating two large courses enrolling over 1600 students per year. These courses incorporate students based on campus and online, many of whom are first in family to come to uni, and from non-traditional backgrounds.
Sarah has considerable experience in e-learning and effective design of online spaces, course delivery, support and assessment methods. She has been recognised and commended for her innovative teaching approaches at the University, State and National Award level. Sarah has been the UniSA Executive representative for the Higher Education Research Group of Adelaide for more than decade, during which she has helped raise over $170k of operational funding, and has been the primary organiser of the 2019 and 2024 Annual Conferences that hosted up to 280 delegates.
Outside of university life, Sarah has more than a decade of volunteering experience in animal rescue, and loves food, art, travel, and growing her suburban farm of dogs, chickens, ducks and plants.
