Sharon has served on the Government of South Australia’s Veterans’ Advisory Council and is a serving Australian Army Reserve Public Affairs Officer, posted to the Defence Command Support Training Centre. Her operational experience with the Australian Defence Force includes deployment to Iraq from 2016-17 where she served as the Public Relations Officer for Task Group Taji IV and on Operation Bushfire Assist during the 2019-2020 bushfires.
She is the founder and Honorary Chair of StoryRight, a not-for-profit program that supports veterans' transition to civilian employment and an Ambassador for Military and Emergency Services Health Australia. For more information visit: www.mesha.org.au
