Ms Tracy Deane

As Deputy Director: ICT Support Services I am responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of the University’s ICT support services including online self-help resources, IT Help Desk and Campus Support as well as third level support relating to ICT asset management, on campus computing facilities, and teaching technology support.

My role is expected to:

• Provide leadership, management and mentoring to over 60 staff, cultivating a strong service focussed and collaborative culture
• Effectively manage the entire University staff end user computing environment
• Effectively manage the provision of a wide range of on campus student computing facilities including computer pools, computer barns, collaborative and special purpose teaching facilities
• Manage all major ICT support services projects
• Provide strategic leadership of the University’s ICT Help Desk incident and problem management processes
• Manage significant operational and capital budgets and ensure resources are used effectively
• Undertake strategic supplier relationship and contract management to maximise outcomes for the University
